WebCritical was awarded the task to redesign both the style and user interface of DMV's public web site. The redesign needed to reflect the Commissioner's goal of providing a "virtual" customer service center for conducting traditional transactions, such as vehicle and drivers license renewal. Additionally, we facilitated development of DMV's Web Style Guide addressing the fonts, colors, size and layout of DMV's public web site and enabling effective internal management of the site. The expertise of our Creative and Technology teams exceeded expectations. The site was recognized with the prestigious 1999 Governor’s Award for the Best State Agency Implementation of Web Technology.
